## How to read these records

### The record

Gas stations, depots, plants and buildings with petroleum or chemical storage tanks register with the Department of Environmental Conservation, which publishes each facility and its tanks.

### Status

Active facility. One record per facility; individual tanks are not listed.

### What is not here

Individuals, and any name without a company word (Inc, LLC, Corp, Co…). Owner and contact names, phone numbers
and mailing addresses, which this site never downloads.
